Vintage late 40s/early 50s women's red, grey, and off-white plaid wool overshirt, in the classic Pendleton 49er style which debuted in 1949. It features a notched collar, decorative waist cinchers, and two lower front pockets. There are also shoulder pads that could be removed with a seam ripper if desired. Condition: Lightly distressed, with a 2" yellow spot on the lower front left, some yellowed sections at the fronts of the underarms and on the inside back of collar and upper back, a 1" yellow spot and some fainter yellowing on the front of the left forearm, the left cuff buttons are missing but there is a snap to compensate, and the shoulder pads are a bit hardened and misshapen but they seem to hold shape well when it's worn.
